History
Arts Hub was founded in 2000 by David Eedle and Fiona Boyd. Their idea was to establish a subscriber service that catered to the growing professional needs of the arts sector. Starting as a weekly Arts Job email newsletter, the business has grown dramatically in response to those needs. The company quickly became the largest and most comprehensive source of creative jobs in Australia, and a reliable, respected publisher of trade news and expert commentary.
Arts Hub extended its reach in 2002 with the launch of Arts Hub UK, followed closely by the launch of Arts Hub US in 2004.
The Boyd-Eedle partnership sold Arts Hub in September 2006 to a syndicate led by Simon Baker, former CEO and Managing Director of www.realestate.com.au. Simon is currently the Executive Chairman at Arts Hub and is also a director of 3eep and Red Bubble.
